Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly is optimistic the Constitutional Court (MK) will not annul the Tax Amnesty Law.
Several civil advocate groups (NGO) filed judicial review to the MK on Wednesday, July 13. The groups believe the Tax Amnesty Law is not in accordance with the constitution.
“We are preparing for it. I believe it will be fine,” said Yasonna at the Coordinating Ministry of Economy’s office, Jakarta, on Thursday (7/14/2016).
The PDIP politician added that the Tax Amnesty Law will be announced by the Minister of State Secretary in the near future. the government is committed to implement the policy.
“It should be implemented immediately. The Ministry of State Secretary will announce it son,” he coontinued.
Separately, Minister of Finance Bambang Brodjonegoro revealed the government has established team to address the legal process in the MK.
“It mainly consists of Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Law and Human Rights,” he stated.
